Although the members of TOMORROW X TOGETHER sing in both Korean and English, the language of love is now the dialect they are most focused on.
With seductive one-liners spoken over a danceable, Afro-house-inspired beat, the K-pop boy band SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI attempted to court a potential love interest with their new single, “Love Language,” which was released on Friday, May 2. The boys recline in deck chairs by the pool, throw canon balls into the water, and do some of their characteristic choreography in a grassy area with a picnic table close by in the summery music video that was released with the song.
“Baby, just tell me, I can not read your mind/ What is your love language?” they beg in the lyrics of the song, which HUENINGKAI co-wrote. “Teach me your love language in detail.”
The new song was released a few weeks following TXT’s early April release of “Rise.” Their most recent EP, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 (which the trio had previously topped with The Name Chapter: Temptation in 2023), was published in November 2024.
The band made an appearance at the 2024 MAMA Awards later that month, where TXT received the Ponta Pass Global Favorite Artist award. On the red carpet before to the performance, TAEHYUN told Billboard, “We can show unforeseen sides of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, so it is truly an enthralling opportunity [to perform].” The group also performed during the program.
