Boston-based artist Des December is making her mark on the music industry with a fearless fusion of Pop, Latin, R&B, and Hip-Hop. Proud of her Dominican and Puerto Rican roots, she brings cultural pride, raw emotion, and infectious energy to everything she creates.
A nurse by day, recording artist by night, and mother of two, Des December proves that passion and ambition don’t have to fit into one box. Her journey began at just five years old through singing and dancing, inspired by icons such as Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, Adele, and Bad Bunny.
Her breakthrough came when her debut single, “Una Movie,” went viral on World Latin Star, opening doors to new opportunities. Since then, she has appeared in music videos alongside major artists, including Grammy-nominated rapper Joyner Lucas, Scar Lip, and Remy Ma. Her growing résumé also includes an appearance at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, participation in the Tubi series Makin a Brand, and international radio airplay across North America and Latin America.
In October 2026, Des December reached another milestone, performing at the Daze Summit in New York City and releasing her debut album, DESCONTROL, on October 6.
Meaning “out of control” in Spanish, DESCONTROL celebrates artistic freedom, empowerment, and the courage to break boundaries. Through bilingual storytelling and genre-blending sounds, Des December connects with listeners who embrace individuality and refuse to let circumstances define their dreams.
Beyond music, she remains a passionate advocate for mental health and authentic self-expression, using her platform to remind others that they never have to choose between their responsibilities and their ambitions.
