Ahead of his new single “Switchin Up”, rapper Lil HotB has reached the highest milestone of his career with his single “Thriller”. Charting at number 36 on the hip Hop/Rap iTunes charts, the Los Angeles native is living out his wildest dreams in real time. He is one of less than 10 rappers to go top 40 this year alongside Doja Cat, Tyler The Creator and Kendrick Lamar. Defeating all the odds as a rising artist in the city of stars, HotB has risen as sleeper up and comer on the rap game.
To ensure the success of his new single, he accompanied it with a Thriller inspired music video that pays direct homage to the iconic Micheal Jackson.
The horror based music video is right on time for the fall season. Reminiscent of Thriller, it was shot in the same house at Michael Jackson’s greatest work.
This fact alone is why HotB’s creativity is unmatched.
With “Dangerous”, you will hear the Los Angeles native openly conveying how dangerous love can be when playing with one’s emotions and heart. As many have experienced love and heartbreak, this subject matter is refreshing to hear HotB tackle. Producer Kinfolk Jon’s (Lil Xan, Lil Uzi Vert, Larry June), superb production skills helped to sonically bring a mysterious, and raw element to this release.
What better way to pay homage to the literal “King of Pop” by dedicating your most impactful piece of work to him. Press play below to Lil HotB’s “DANGEROUS”.
